Effective October 23. 2015 our interest in our operations in China, Coastal Instruments (Dandong) Company, Ltd., have been sold to a Chinese national. As a result of this sale there is no continuing business relation between Coastal-US and Coastal-CN including training and technical support. This move was made as a result of the ongoing decay of a positive business environment for foreign owned companies in China. We wish the newly organized Chinese company much success in their future.

Our Coastal crew, Tasha, Tim, and Wayne at Semicon West in San Francisco this year. They clean up really good. It was good show this year with one of the biggest crowds seen at this show in several years. Thanks to our existing customers and potential new customers for stopping by to visit with us. Our next show will be the Chem Show at Javits Convention Center in New York City, November 17-19, 2015.

Effective July 17, 2015 Coastal Instruments will be closing our Newberg, OR facility which has been in operation since 2005. We plan to continue to supply the same level of support to the customers who have been using our OR office from our existing facilities in Burgaw, NC. Tom Working, Manager of the OR shop for the past 8 years, will be relocating to the NC facility, and will continue to be available to help with the transition of work from OR to NC.
